Mulling over Starbucks' cider
I’m glad Starbucks only has hot caramel apple cider on its winter menu and not all year round. And not just because I’d be a few pounds heavier than I already am as a result of drinking one a day. The seasonality gives my palate a chance to forget how mahvelous they are. Yes, I meant to spell that with an “h.” Delectable, if you will. I bought my first of this season about a week ago. One sip and I thought, “Ah, yes… This is so worth every sugary calorie.”
If you haven’t tried one, I recommend you do. Immediately. If you don’t think it tastes just like grandma’s apple pie, then you’ve missed out on some really great pie. Even more reason to get one. The only things missing are the crust and the lipstick kiss mark on your forehead.
Leave a comment and tell me if you've tried and what you think...
Best dishes,
Nicci

Starbucks cider for the winter menu should be year round. If you are gaining weight, go exercise but don't do away with the cider.
