Hey, Napoleon, gimme some of your tots

As far as eating contests go, I think the one at Bar Louie on Thursday is pretty genius: How many tater tots can you eat in 6 minutes? Tots are so easy to pop into your mouth, I'd think in 6 minutes, you could get a pretty impressive count, and they don't take much chewing or anything. It seems less gross than, say, an oyster or hot dog eating contest.
It's a national contest: the winner here moves on.
Rock the Tot 2008”.

Polly, I am impressed by the title of your blog post. My hubby and I now call the Mexican favorite the "quesadill-a". The only way I could participate in this is if they had been sitting out for awhile. This would be the only time I don't want something fresh from the fryer. This is a cute competition.

Napoleon Dynamite was one of the most food-funny movies I've ever seen. We have never once called a quesadilla by its right name since we saw it. I love the opening sequence.

The Tot contest actually starts at 8pm sharp! Be sure to be there to root on your favorite contestant... King Tot, The Tot-face Killah, or Tank. Who are you rooting for?!
