Hugo blows in

Hugo, the sophisticated Southern restaurant taking over the Oakley Pho Paris space, opens to the public on Thursday, May 10.

Looks like appetizrts are 8-13$, and moe no doubt for foie gras. Entrees arefrom $18 for chicken confit, $20 for braised rabbit up to $27 for Kobe beef with oxtails and escarole

I went to Hugo this past Saturday and had the tasting menu. Everything was fabulous and the wine pairings were phenomenal. The price was reasonable especially compared to other restaurants. For a 7 course tasting menu plus wine, it was less than $100! The atmosphere was very good, not too noisy but not too quiet. Next time, I'm going to try the lounge and sample the small plates.
