NKy's little secret

After buying a handful of Christmas presents from the Holiday Market at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, my cousin suggested we walk over a couple blocks to check out Jean Robert's newish Greenup Cafe in Covington for brunch. It's a great little spot, full of hip and happening artsy types.

Unfortunately, the wait for three at 1 p.m. was shaping up to be 30 minutes, and we were ravenous. So we settled for salads and warm bread at Behle Street Cafe. But check out Greenup when you can. The weekend brunch is 9 to 2. Next time, we'll go early. They were out of pastries by the time we made it there - major bummer!
